The University of Detroit Mercy recently hosted the 2nd Annual Networking Mixer by the Entrepreneurship Association in the stunning Architecture Exhibit Room. This dynamic event gathered aspiring entrepreneurs, alumni, and business leaders from across the city to network, exchange ideas, and share their entrepreneurial journeys.
Dominique Davenport, CEO of Detroit’s Future is Female (DFF), joined a panel alongside fellow Social Entrepreneurship Boost alumni. The panel included Keirsten Johnson, founder of Kookies by Keirsten, Charles McKaye of Detroit Metro Plug Podcast, and Sherrie Savage of The Coloring Museum. Each shared insights on building businesses that prioritize community impact, creative innovation, and resilience in the face of challenges.
